Bryan Reynolds
REN
Spot start with two assists
Reynolds assisted twice to go with two crosses (two accurate) and three chances created in Sunday's 4-1 win versus AJ Auxerre.
Analysis: Rennes made a bold move after the team's long break, promoting Reynolds to the starting XI for his first start this season. The decision paid off offensively, as he assisted Adrien Thomasson and Boulaye Dia, with Thomasson later scoring Rennes' game-winning goal. With his form arguably at a career-high, Reynolds hopes to have done enough to earn a more regular role moving forward, given he averaged under double-digit minutes across his previous appearances this season.
Transfers to Rennes
Reynolds has transferred to Rennes on a four-year contract until the end of the 2029/30 season Thursday.
Analysis: Reynolds spent the last three seasons playing for Westerlo in the Belgian Jupiler Pro League, and now he's back in a top-five European league. Reynolds should add some much-needed depth on the right side of the defense, and he'll get a chance to prove he belongs in a top-tier league after a disappointing spell at AS Roma between 2021 and 2023.
