Analysis: De Frutos started his seventh game of the season as his side drew 1-1 against Getafe. He had been subbed off after 25 minutes in the previous game, but played 65 in this match. He created two chances in this game to provide his second assist of the season and this was the second time this year he had created two chances.
Ban over, eligible again
De Frutos completed his two-game suspension and will be available for Saturday's match against Osasuna.
Analysis: De Frutos was handed a two-game suspension after he was sent off while on the bench against Racing Santander on Sept. 5, causing him to miss the games against Real Madrid and Espanyol. De Frutos should return to the starting lineup against Osasuna on Saturday.

Analysis: De Frutos won't be eligible until the Sept. 19 visit to Osasuna after being penalized for offensive behavior in his last appearance. The attacker's exclusion from Rayo's scheme adds to Isi Palazon's (strain) injury, leaving them without a significant portion of their offensive power. Meanwhile, Fran Perez and Giorgi Tsitaishvili are the main candidates to fill in on the right wing.
Sees red card off bench
De Frutos was sent off while on the bench in Saturday's match against Racing Santander.
Analysis: De Frutos was subbed off in the second half, but he received a red card nearing the end of the game. It wouldn't be surprising if the Disciplinary Committee extends De Frutos' ban, but for the time being, he'll miss the match against Real Madrid next Saturday. If the suspension is just one match, he'd be eligible to face Espanyol on Tuesday, Sept. 15. With De Frutos out versus Real Madrid, Randy Nteka or Giorgi Tsitaishvili could be options to take his place in the XI.
