Set for undisputed starting role
Torres is expected to establish himself as an undisputed starter in PSG's attack over the coming months following Ousmane Dembele's injury (thigh), which leaves the forward with a clear path to consistent playing time.
Analysis: Torres is poised to take on a significantly larger role in PSG's attacking setup following Ousmane Dembele's injury (thigh), which should considerably reduce competition for minutes in the coming month. The forward has already demonstrated his productivity this season, recording four goals and one assist across seven Ligue 1 appearances, including four starts. He most recently delivered an assist during Saturday's 3-1 victory over Strasbourg, setting up Desire Doue's stoppage-time goal with a cutback from inside the penalty area while also registering one shot on target. Despite previously being subject to frequent rotation, Torres now appears positioned to become a regular fixture in the starting lineup, potentially benefiting from increased minutes and attacking responsibilities. His strong early-season production makes him an appealing fantasy option, particularly if he maintains his efficiency while receiving more consistent opportunities in the final third.
Registers first league assist
Torres assisted once to go with one shot (one on goal) and one chance created in Saturday's 3-1 win against Strasbourg.
Analysis: Torres contributed to PSG's comeback victory with one assist, one shot on target and one chance created across 90 minutes. The forward forced an early save from Filip Jorgensen before setting up Desire Doue's stoppage-time goal with a cutback from inside the penalty area. The assist was his first in Ligue 1 this season, bringing his tally to four goals and one assist across seven appearances, including four starts. His five goal contributions underline his attacking productivity despite PSG's frequent squad rotation.
