Scores goal in draw
Bueno scored one goal to go with one shot (one on goal) in Saturday's 1-1 draw against Monterrey.
Analysis: Bueno turned a sequence of rebounds into the equalizer in first-half stoppage time, making an immediate impact in his first official start for the Eagles. One of the club's most notable signings for 2026/27 after his time with Wolverhampton, he also looked assured in defense Saturday. He looks set to form a center-back partnership with Santiago Ramos Mingo, whom he knows from their time in Barcelona's youth system. That pairing could leave Ramon Juarez and Emilio Lara with limited opportunities for minutes.
Completes Club America move
Bueno is joining Club America after leaving English Championship squad Wolverhampton, the team announced Friday.
Analysis: Bueno is set to join his new side practically for the final stages of the Apertura campaign, with high expectations being placed on him to fill the void left by his compatriot Sebastian Caceres, who left for Celta Vigo. The new signing brings Premier League experience following his latest Wolves stint, in which he produced four goals and two assists while averaging 3.3 clearances and 0.8 tackles per game across 80 appearances (65 starts) between league and FA Cup action. His addition could allow the Azulcremas some flexibility to include him in the back line at Ramon Juarez's expense or form a back three in the tougher fixtures.
