Geiger is once again part of Hoffenheim's squad for the next season after spending time on loan with Scottish side Aberdeen.

Analysis: Geiger has returned to his parent club, coming off a production of one goal and one assist over 12 official appearances in Scotland during the first few months of the year. While it remains unclear how much he'll play in the 2026/27 Bundesliga season, he could at least offer a backup option to support a midfield depth that also includes Wouter Burger, Leon Avdullahu and new signing Nathan De Cat.
