Oumar Solet
Will miss some time
Solet is nursing a pettineus muscle strain in his left leg and should return in two weeks, Udinese announced.
Analysis: Solet got away with a relatively minor muscular problem after leaving early in the previous match and is expected back after the first international break. Enzo Ebosse, Christian Kabasele and Nicolo Bertola will play more with him and Matteo Palma (thigh) on the mend.
Limps off versus Lazio
Solet recorded one tackle (one won) and one clearance in 38 minutes before departing Monday's clash against Lazio due to an apparent thigh injury, La Gazzetta dello Sport reported.
Analysis: Solet was on point for the most part while leading the defense, but he experienced some discomfort near the end of the first half and had to come out. He'll be assessed in the next few days ahead of Monday's game versus Inter. Christian Kabasele would take over the position if needed.
Posts four clearances in Como match
Solet created one scoring chance and had one interception, four clearances and two blocks in Saturday's 1-1 draw with Como.
Analysis: Solet anchored the defense as he was the most experienced man at the position, which reduced his ability to push forward, as he instead does routinely in other configurations. He was okay in the back and picked up a decent amount of stats, but Udinese conceded once.
Logs three interceptions in Napoli match
Solet won one of two tackles and had three interceptions and one cross (zero accurate) in Sunday's 1-0 loss to Napoli.
Analysis: Solet had a workmanlike display in the season finale, and his team allowed one goal in the first half. He recorded multiple tackles in the last four matches, amassing 14 (10 won). Instead, he halted a five-game streak with at least one clearance in this one. He might transfer to a bigger team after posting three goals, 75 tackles, 125 clearances and 48 interceptions and contributing to 10 clean sheets in 35 matches.
Complete outing in Cremonese clash
Solet had three shots (one on goal), four crosses (zero accurate) and six clearances and won two of three tackles in Sunday's 1-0 defeat to Cremonese.
Analysis: Solet was a big presence on both ends, pacing his team in attempts and posting a new season high. He has registered at least one shot, totaling eight (two on target), and one clearance, amassing 16, in the last five rounds, adding six key passes and five interceptions and contributing to two clean sheets over that span. Additionally, this marked his third straight match with three or more tackles, for a total of 12 (nine won).
Logs secondary assist versus Cagliari
Solet registered three tackles (one won), three clearances and one shot (zero on target) and provided a secondary assist in Saturday's 2-0 victory versus Cagliari.
Analysis: Solet once again got the job done in the back and started a late successful counter with a through ball for Keinan Davis. He has notched at least one shot, amassing five (one on target), and one clearance, piling up 10, in the last four matches, helping secure four clean sheets and recording 11 tackles (nine won) and five key passes during that stretch.
