Extends contract through 2028

Buades has signed a contract extension with Le Mans FC through 2028, according to the club.

Analysis: Buades joined Le Mans last September from Valenciennes and made 26 starts in 27 Ligue 2 appearances this past season, contributing three goals and five assists, including an equalizer in the Maine derby. He previously made over 100 Ligue 2 appearances across spells with Rodez and Le Mans, and also has top flight experience from a stint at Nimes. The extension comes as Le Mans prepares for life in Ligue 1 following promotion, and Buades is set to be a regular contributor at right wing back as the club begins a new chapter in the top division.
