Juan Berrocal

Analysis: Berrocal came through Sevilla's academy and made his first-team debut there at 19, before loan spells at Mirandes and Real Sporting de Gijon added second-tier experience. He established himself at Eibar over five seasons, racking up 163 appearances in the Spanish second division, before Getafe signed him in 2024-25, where he made 19 La Liga. Last season he was loaned out to Atlanta United in MLS. He now becomes Malaga's seventh signing of the summer window, giving the club a proven, experienced option at center back as it targets a return to the top flight.

Returns to Getafe

Berrocal will return to parent club Getafe following the conclusion of his loan agreement with Atlanta United on June 30, the club announced.
