Analysis: Kabak earned his first World Cup start in a semi rotated lineup as Turkey looked to give players a chance following their early exit. Deployed in the back three he was dominant in the air, winning all three of his aerial duels, and backed that up with four tackles, four clearances and one block while also contributing one chance created in an all round solid display. A good individual display in a win that brought little beyond salvaging some pride for Turkey.
