Returns to Marseille
Cornelius has returned to Marseille after his season long loan at Glasgow Rangers has concluded.
Analysis: Cornelius made seven appearances for Rangers this past season, scoring once, before a hamstring injury interrupted his loan spell and limited his opportunities down the stretch. The 28 year old Canadian international, who made 22 appearances for Marseille in 2024/25 after joining from Malmo, now returns to the club with the hope to find a role under new coach Bruno Genesio.
