Pierluigi Gollini
ROM
Allows three goals in draw
Gollini registered five saves and allowed three goals in Saturday's 3-3 draw versus Napoli.
Analysis: Gollini saw his run of back to back league clean sheets end in Saturday's 3-3 draw with Napoli, which was the most goals he has conceded since taking over from the injured Mile Svilar. The goalkeeper was kept busy throughout, however, and he finished with five saves to help Roma come from behind twice for a point. The Italian has now made 10 saves in his three league starts. He returns to the Olimpico for the visit of Cagliari on Tuesday.
Keeps clean sheet without save
Gollini had no saves and secured a clean sheet in Tuesday's 4-0 win versus Slovan Bratislava.
Analysis: Gollini kept a clean sheet without recording a save during Tuesday's 4-0 Champions League victory over Slovan Bratislava. The goalkeeper enjoyed a remarkably quiet evening as Roma dominated possession and limited the visitors to just one shot, which failed to find the target. Gollini benefited from his team's defensive control throughout the contest, securing a clean sheet as Roma recorded their first Champions League victory of the campaign.
Single save for win
Gollini made one save and secured a clean sheet in Saturday's 2-0 victory against Genoa.
Analysis: Gollini stopped the only shot he faced and came away with the clean sheet during Saturday's clash. The fact he only needed to make the single save to come away with a clean sheet is a lovely return for Gollini. He won't have many matches that are this easy, but it's still a nice boon in a busy part of the schedule.
Four saves, allows four in loss
Gollini registered four saves and allowed four goals in Wednesday's 4-3 defeat to Real Madrid.
Analysis: Gollini allowed three late goals, finishing with four conceded in Wednesday's defeat. With Mile Svilar sidelined for a month, he's likely to get the call for the upcoming UCL clash against Slovan Bratislava, having just made his first tournament appearance since the 2019/20 season with Napoli.
Clean sheet against Como
Gollini registered four saves and allowed zero goals in Sunday's 0-0 draw against Como.
Analysis: Gollini was handed his first start of the season Sunday and did well with the opportunity, making four saves on his way to a clean sheet. This is his first league appearance since the 2024/25 season, serving in place of the injured Mile Svilar (toe). With Svilar not expected to return until early November, Gollini will likely be in net for the foreseeable future, especially after his solid outing.
