Signs new long-term deal
Le Fee signed a new long-term contract with Sunderland through the summer of 2031, according to the club.
Analysis: Le Fee has committed his long-term future to Sunderland after establishing himself as a key part of the side since initially arriving on loan from Roma in 2025. The midfielder recorded five goals and six assists across 36 appearances last season as Sunderland finished seventh in the Premier League and qualified for Europe. He has carried that production into the new campaign with two goals already, including the winner against AZ Alkmaar in the Europa League, and should remain an important part of the starting XI going forward.
Tallies assist
Le Fee assisted once to go with four crosses (three accurate) and four corners in Sunday's 5-3 loss against Manchester City.
Analysis: Le Fee has hit a run of good form over the past few games, adding another goal contribution Sunday when finding Brian Bobbery in the 12th minute. This comes after Le Fee had a goal in Thursday's UEL match and a goal in league play three appearances ago, a solid run for the midfielder. He has started in all five games this season, recording one goal and one assist.
Misses penalty in defeat
Le Fee generated three shots (one on goal), three crosses (two accurate) and one corner in Saturday's 2-0 loss versus Arsenal.
Analysis: Le Fee had Sunderland's best opportunity to take the lead but saw his second-half penalty denied by David Raya with the match still scoreless. Arsenal opened the scoring shortly afterward, making the missed spot kick a turning point in the contest. Le Fee remained heavily involved despite the miss, finishing with three shots and two accurate crosses while also handling some set pieces. His prominent creative role should continue to provide opportunities for attacking production.
Nets late penalty in draw
Le Fee scored one goal to go with three shots (one on goal), two crosses (zero accurate) and one corner in Saturday's 1-1 draw against Brentford.
Analysis: Le Fee was one of Sunderland's best players in this game, rattling the post in the first half and often providing a spark in the final meters. He had the responsibility of converting a late penalty and didn't waste the opportunity. Through three starts this season, Le Fee has one goal, seven shots, one chance created, six crosses and six tackles. He should continue to thrive as the Black Cats' No. 10.
Four shots in win
Le Fee had four shots (one on goal), two crosses (one accurate) and one chance created in Sunday's 1-0 victory against Fulham.
Analysis: Le Fee was involved in every aspect of the attack throughout Sunday's win. He created a chance, he took four shots and whipped in a pair of crosses. Every move going forward was involving Le Fee, and he was the crux of the team. He will hope to build on this excellent volume moving forward.
Two crosses in loss
Le Fee generated two crosses (zero accurate) and one corner in Saturday's 2-1 defeat versus Ipswich Town.
Analysis: Le Fee opened his season with a pair of crosses and nothing else to show for a disappointing loss to Ipswich. This is a match Le Fee would have been hoping to use to springboard his campaign, and instead he was frustrated. It's a long season and Le Fee certainly has upside, but he would have hoped for more from the opening matchday.
Starts in friendly
Le Fee (undisclosed) is in the starting lineup for Saturday's friendly against Rennes, according to the club.
Analysis: Le Fee had missed the earlier win over Wrexham with a minor injury before being spotted completing running work on the pitch, and his return to the starting XI now confirms that setback has cleared up. He finished last season with five goals and six assists across 36 Premier League appearances, and this clean bill of health positions him to build toward the new season as one of Sunderland's top class midfielders.
Dealing with minor issue
Le Fee (undisclosed) was seen completing running work on the pitch after missing Sunderland's preseason win over Wrexham with what was described as a minor injury, according to James Copley of the Sunderland Echo.
Analysis: Le Fee finished last season with five goals and six assists across 36 Premier League appearances, cementing his status as one of the club's top-class midfielders in his first full season in the top flight. He was spotted jogging laps alongside a member of Sunderland's staff for around 10 to 15 minutes after the final whistle, a positive sign that suggests the issue is not expected to keep him out for long, though the club will continue to manage his workload carefully as preseason continues for the Black Cats.
Diverse effort in win
Le Fee recorded two shots (two on goal), two crosses (one accurate) and one corner in Sunday's 2-1 win versus Chelsea.
Analysis: Le Fee was busy during his final game of the season, although he failed to get directly involved in the goals. The attacker worked as a versatile asset, playing all around the field and standing out as one of the team's top set-piece takers alongside Granit Xhaka. Additionally, Le Fee finished with the most complete offensive output among Sunderland players, as his six goals and six assists ranked second and first on the squad, respectively, across all competitions.
Two goal contributions
Le Fee scored one goal and assisted once from two shots and one chance created in Sunday's 3-1 victory over Everton.
Analysis: Le Fee earned his paycheck Sunday as he helped his club top Everton, earning two goal contributions. He would first find Brian Brobbey to start their comeback, then score in the 81st minute to complete the comeback. The midfielder has now broken double-digit goal contributions this campaign, earning five goals and six assists.
Assists late in 4-3 loss
Le Fee assisted once to go with two shots (two on goal), two crosses (zero accurate) and two corners in Sunday's 4-3 loss against Aston Villa.
Analysis: Le Fee provided his fifth assist of the season as he connected with Wilson Isidor with just a few minutes remaining to bring the game to 3-3. Sunderland thought they had done enough but conceded again in injury time. He created three chances in the game, his most in the last three, but he has continued his run of creating a chance in the game to eight games in a row.
Good to go for Newcastle clash
Le Fee (undisclosed) is a bench option for Sunday's fixture agaisnt Newcastle United.
Analysis: Le Fee is available after sitting out one game, but is being eased into action and won't get the nod as usual, with Habib Diarra and Chris Rigg retaining the starting jobs. Le Fee has created at least one chance in five appearances in a row, amassing 15 key passes, scoring once and posting 20 crosses (six accurate), 12 corners and 14 tackles (eight won) over that span.
Working towards Sunday return
Le Fee (undisclosed) is a late call for Sunday's match against Newcastle, according to manager Regis Le Bris. "They are working hard behind the scenes to be ready for the game. We have to make medical decisions because we still have a lot of games to play after this one, as well as an international break."
Analysis: Le Fee had to miss the last match with a training injury and is now hoping to be an option Sunday, although it will come down to some late testing as he remains a late call. The club will wait for his return and hope he can play, as he is a regular starter, starting in 26 of his 28 appearances this season. That said, if fit, he will hope to be ready to start, with Habib Diarra and Chris Rigg as other options.
Suffers injury in training
Le Fee (undisclosed) suffered an injury in Friday's team training session and is ruled out for Saturday's clash against Brighton. He should however be back available for next week's fixture against Newcastle, according to coach Regis Le Bris. "For Enzo, I hope for next week."
Analysis: Le Fee suffered an injury during Friday's final training session ahead of Saturday's clash against Brighton, though the issue doesn't appear too serious with coach Regis Le Bris hopeful he can return next week. Even so, his absence still shakes up the starting XI since he is an undisputed starter for the Black Cats when healthy. Chris Rigg will step into the lineup Saturday to fill the opening in midfield.
Converts penalty in loss
Le Fee scored a goal with his lone shot while crossing four times inaccurately and creating a chance during Sunday's 3-1 loss to Fulham.
Analysis: Le Fee converted a penalty in the 76th minute while finishing with the second most shots, crosses and chances created on the team in the defeat. The goal was the first since January 17th as the attacker has combined for seven crosses and five tackles over his last three league appearances.
Sends in three crosses
Le Fee crossed three times (one accurate) and created a chance during Saturday's 3-1 loss to West Ham.
Analysis: Le Fee finished with the third most crosses on the team while being the runner up in chances created. The midfielder has one goal involvement to go along with five shots, four chances created and 10 crosses over his last three appearances.
Calm finish in win
Le Fee scored one goal to go with three shots (one on goal), three crosses (one accurate) and two corners in Saturday's 2-1 win against Crystal Palace.
Analysis: Le Fee arrived ion the penalty spot Saturday to stroke home a driven cross and initially bring Sunderland level before they would kick-on to a 2-1 victory over Crystal Palace. In addition to his goal contribution, the attacker added two tackles (two won) and one clearance to the defensive effort across his 90 minutes of play. Le Fee has played the full 90 minutes in each of his last eight Premier League appearances.

Analysis: Le Fee set up the equalizing goal Sunday as he assisted Brian Brobbey's powerful strike in the 80th minute. It marked his fourth assist of the season and his first since Dec. 3. It was the only chance he created in the match, bringing him up to 11 over the last four matches. He also won five tackles and intercepted one pass as he played the full 90 minutes for the sixth match in a row.
Creative in 0-0 draw
Le Fee generated two shots (zero on goal), nine crosses (four accurate) and four corners in Saturday's 0-0 draw versus Brighton. In addition, he was given a yellow card in the 86th minute.
Analysis: Le Fee was a key creative force for Sunderland as they drew away to Brighton, although he was unable to provide an assist. He completed four of nine crosses, created five chances and took two shots. The midfielder will be a key creative force when many of his teammates are away at AFCON. So far this season, he has scored two goals and created three assists. He is also Sunderland's second-highest set-piece taker, only behind Granit Xhaka.
Whips in four crosses
Le Fee had one shot (zero on goal), four crosses (zero accurate) and two corners in Saturday's 3-0 defeat versus Manchester City.
Analysis: Le Fee stopped his two-game goal contributions streak Saturday when failing to score or earn an asisst against City, only recording one shot and zero goal contributions. However, he would earn his 11th straight start as he continues to stamp his name as a regular starter, recording five goal contributions this campaign in 14 appearances (12 starts).
