Joins PAOK on loan
Jakic has joined PAOK Thessaloniki on loan from Augsburg for the remainder of the season, with the agreement including an option to buy, according to the club.
Analysis: Jakic requested a move in search of more regular playing time after seeing his opportunities reduced at Augsburg. The versatile midfielder departs after making 78 competitive appearances for the club, recording five goals and three assists since initially arriving from Eintracht Frankfurt in 2024. His ability to operate in defensive midfield and across the back line should give him several routes to playing time at PAOK, where he will reunite with former Augsburg teammate Dimitris Giannoulis.
Ruled out against Frankfurt
Jakic (undisclosed) is ruled out for Sunday's clash against Frankfurt, according to coach Manuel Baum. "The same goes for Jakic compared to last weekend."
