Dubravka allowed three goals while making two saves during Tuesday's 3-1 EFL Cup loss to Liverpool, marking his first start for Tottenham. Coach Roberto De Zerbi referred to him post-match as "a good guy, good goalkeeper" and added that "It was the first game for Dubravka. In the second half he played very well," per Alasdair Gold of Football London.

Analysis: Dubravka got an opportunity to showcase his quality after staying on the bench in each of the first three Premier League games of the 2026/27 campaign. While the result was not too encouraging and Tottenham were eliminated from the tournament, the former Newcastle keeper could continue to serve as Antonin Kinsky's backup and see more action later in the season when there are FA Cup matches.
