Undegoes back surgery

Adorante repaired a hernia in his back and is expected to return in October, Trivenetegogoal reported.

Analysis: Adorante tried to push through the problem early in the summer, but the discomfort wasn't going away. He's set to miss a couple of months, so he won't be available for the early rounds. He led the frontline in Serie B last season, but Venezia have already signed two established strikers, Akor Adams and Albion Rrahmani, to handle the role, in addition to John Yeboah.
