Five crosses and clean sheet
Porro had two shots (zero on goal), five crosses (two accurate) and three corners in Saturday's 0-0 draw versus Nottingham Forest.
Analysis: Porro and the Spurs defense kept their first clean sheet of the season Saturday, with Porro contributing two clearances, one interception and one tackle on that end of the pitch. He was very active on the attack as well as he created three chances and recorded two accurate crosses. Especially with James Maddison (shoulder) injured again, Porro is one of Spurs' key players on the attack in addition to his defensive duties.
Four shots in Saturday's loss
Porro had four shots (one on goal) and four crosses (one accurate) in Saturday's 2-0 loss against Newcastle United.
Analysis: Porro, who missed the season opener due to an undisclosed injury, returned to the starting XI Saturday. Instead of playing his typical position of right back, he started on the right wing and was very active on the attack. He took four shots, putting one on target, and recorded four crosses, but ultimately could not help Spurs find its first goal of the season. With Mohammed Kudus now healthy and Savio recently joining the club, Porro will likely move back to right back soon.
