Busy defensively in draw
Porozo had three shots (two on target), made nine clearances and four interceptions and was shown a yellow card during Saturday's 1-1 draw against Juarez.
Analysis: Porozo returned to the team after missing the previous game while on international duty and picked up where he left off as he dominated opposing forwards while putting up big numbers at the heart of the defense. With 66 clearances and 15 interceptions over nine starts this season, the center-back is once again putting himself among the Liga MX's elite at his position, something he's done since joining Tijuana last year.
Returns after international duty
Porozo (international duty) is back as a starter for his club in Saturday's meeting with FC Juarez.
Analysis: Porozo is an essential member of his team's defense, and his return was much-needed after Unai Bilbao suffered a groin injury that sidelined him for this match. The Ecuadorian will aim to see his usual workload if the club continues to rely heavily on his averages of 7.4 clearances and 2.8 aerials won per contest.
