Returns to squad against Troyes
Kondogbia (thigh) has been named in Marseille's squad for Sunday's Ligue 1 encounter against Troyes, marking his return to contention after recovering from a thigh injury.
Analysis: Kondogbia is available for selection after recently resuming training following a spell on the sidelines with a thigh problem. The midfielder had remained doubtful heading into Sunday's encounter, but his inclusion in the squad represents an encouraging step in his recovery. However, given his recent absence, he could initially be eased back into competitive action off the bench rather than immediately returning to the starting lineup. His availability provides Marseille with additional experience and depth in central midfield.
Still doubtful for Troyes clash
Kondogbia (thigh) remains doubtful for Sunday's Ligue 1 clash against Troyes despite recently returning to training following his thigh injury as he wasn't mentioned in the presser by coach Bruno Genesio.
Analysis: Kondogbia resumed training Tuesday after spending time on the sidelines with a thigh issue, marking an encouraging step in his recovery. However, the midfielder has yet to receive full clearance for competitive action, leaving his availability for Sunday's trip to Troyes uncertain. His involvement will likely depend on how he responds to the final training sessions before the match, with Marseille potentially opting for a cautious approach rather than risking another setback. Once fully fit, Kondogbia should provide additional depth and experience in midfield.
