Scores penalty in win
Lala scored one goal to go with four shots (one on goal) and one cross (zero accurate) in Saturday's 5-1 win against Angers.
Analysis: Lala stepped up to convert a well-taken penalty in the 30th minute to make it 3-0, adding an attacking contribution to what was an active performance from right back. His eight chances created and 0.80 expected assists across six matches this season reflect consistent attacking involvement from a fullback that goes well beyond his defensive role, and his clean sheet upside remains limited given Brest have yet to keep one in the league this season. His next fixture against Lille, who sit second, will be a significant step up on both ends of the pitch.
Fit and available for PSG clash
Lala (ankle) is fit and available for Sunday's clash against Paris Saint-Germain, according to coach Julien Lachuer, per Le Telegramme.
Analysis: Lala had been forced off with ankle swelling caused by a burst vein or vessel following a collision with Timothee Pembele, an issue that had Luck Zogbe stepping in during his absence. His confirmed recovery now positions him to reclaim his starting spot for this significant fixture.
