Jaros (knee) will return to parent club Liverpool after sustaining a serious knee injury that required surgery, ending his loan spell at Ajax early.

Analysis: Jaros made six Champions League starts across 540 minutes for Ajax before the injury struck in February, saving 18 of 31 shots faced in that competition. He had also made 19 Eredivisie starts averaging 3.3 saves and 1.2 goals conceded per game while keeping five clean sheets before the season-ending setback. Jaros now returns to Liverpool to continue his rehabilitation.
