Scores in draw
Massengo scored one goal to go with one shot (one on goal) and one cross (zero accurate) in Saturday's 1-1 draw against Union Berlin.
Analysis: Massengo got on the end of a throw-in situation and headed home the hosts' lone goal in the 71st minute against the capital city team. It was his first goal of the season, and combined with the assist he picked up in the opening weeks, it doubled his direct involvements. Scoring isn't a regular part of his game, but he has put up three shots across his last two matches, and his work winning the ball back in the middle continues to be the steadier source of production.
Assists in Sunday's win
Massengo assisted once to go with one shot (zero on goal) and one chance created in Sunday's 4-1 victory over Eintracht Frankfurt.
Analysis: Massengo recorded his first goal contribution of the season Sunday, an assist on Alexis Claude-Maurice's goal in the 65th minute. It was the only chance he created after recording four in the season opener last week. He was strong on the defensive end too as he won two tackles, made three clearances and intercepted one pass in his 90 minutes of action.
