Analysis: Abergel announced his departure from Lorient on June 30 but didn't waste time finding a new club for the 2026/27 season. The central midfielder was a regular starter for Lorient in each of his last six seasons with the club, including five in Ligue 1, and should hold down a similar role in Nice's midfield. That said, the nature of his holding typically doesn't translate into much fantasy upside.
