Analysis: Boscagli struggled in the opening 15 minutes of Sunday's clash, as he was responsible for at least one of the early goals they conceded. He did his best to get forward and try to make up for those mistakes, but he wasn't able to in the end. It's a disappointing performance, but on the road in Anfield is always going to be a difficult trip.

Analysis: Boscagli registered one shot without troubling David Raya and made three interceptions across 90 minutes as Brighton's left back, with his most important intervention coming when he dispossessed Christos Tzolis after the Arsenal winger had been played through on goal in the first half. He was part of a defensive unit that kept Arsenal to only one shot on target in the second half and contributed one accurate cross from two attempts as Brighton built from the back throughout. Boscagli has now started all five of Brighton's Premier League fixtures this season.

Analysis: Boscagli was level with Maxim De Cuyper for most crosses in the game with eight, even without set pieces. He came off with one minute left on the clock but has played every minute in the first two matches. In this game he created five chances, having only created one in the two games before that. He also made four clearances to support his side defensively.

Analysis: Boscagli made his second consecutive Premier League start and nearly got on the scoresheet when his powerful second-half effort forced Emiliano Martinez into a save. His ability to contribute in possession while stepping into midfield areas gives Brighton another progressive option from the back, and consecutive starts suggest he has established an early role in the defensive setup.

Analysis: Boscagli has struggled for minutes since joining Brighton, with no appearances in the Premier League yet. The defender did well during the start in the cup and showed why he could be a consistent piece moving forward. With Brighton competing in multiple competitions, there's more chance for Boscagli to feature.
