The center-back combined defensive solidity with involvement going forward, helping limit the opposition's attacking threat. Boscagli's composure in possession and ability to progress the ball from the back make him a valuable part of the defensive unit and should keep him in contention for a regular starting role.

Analysis: Boscagli was credited with the assist in Yasin Ayari's goal, but the defender simply took part in a one-two sequence, as Ayari deserves all the credit for the goal due to his thunderous strike. Boscagli isn't known for being heavily involved on offense, though, and he should earn most of his fantasy upside due to his defensive stats going forward.

Analysis: Boscagli has struggled for minutes since joining Brighton, with no appearances in the Premier League yet. The defender did well during the start in the cup and showed why he could be a consistent piece moving forward. With Brighton competing in multiple competitions, there's more chance for Boscagli to feature.
