Ludovic Blas
REN
Assists off bench
Blas assisted once to go with one shot (zero on goal), two crosses (zero accurate) and two chances created in Sunday's 4-1 win over AJ Auxerre.
Analysis: Right before and after the international break, Rennes dropped Blas from its starting XI. But on Sunday, Blas replaced Issa Soumare with just under 15 minutes left in regulation and, in extra time, assisted Boulaye Dia to cement Rennes' three points. The assist marks Blas' first contribution to his G/A this season.
Three shots in win
Blas registered three shots (two on goal), four crosses (one accurate) and one chance created in Friday's 1-0 win over Marseille.
Analysis: Blas was Rennes' most dangerous attacking presence across his 78 minutes before being replaced by Sebastian Szymanski, registering three shots including two on target and delivering four accurate crosses from four attempts while also setting up the move that led to Adrien Thomasson's 52nd minute winner, with his pass finding Mousa Tamari who delivered the decisive cross. He also tested Jeffrey De Lange with a low free kick just before halftime that the Marseille goalkeeper did well to keep out as Rennes pushed for a breakthrough in a tight first half. Blas still has to find a goal contribution this campaign but seems to be a starter again for the Rennais.
