Signs with Le Mans through 2029
Diallo has joined Le Mans from Metz on a contract through 2029, the club announced.
Analysis: Diallo leaves Metz after their relegation to Ligue 2 and joins a Le Mans side going the other way, promoted to the top flight for the first time since 2010. He brings 57 goals in 175 Ligue 1 appearances across spells with Metz and Strasbourg, including a 20-goal season for Strasbourg in 2022-23 that made him one of the division's leading scorers. At 31 he's the experienced focal point Le Mans lacked, and he should get a starting place.

Diallo (hamstring) is back available for Saturday's clash against Monaco after missing the previous fixture, according to coach Benoit Tavenot.
Analysis: Diallo's return is a significant boost for Metz, as the forward is an undisputed starter who had been sidelined after an early exit in the last match. The forward has been one of the more consistent attacking contributors this season, registering four goals across 23 Ligue 1 appearances. His return should see Lucas Michal and Giorgi Kvilitaia revert to depth roles after covering in his absence.
Out to face Le Havre
Diallo (hamstring) is out for Sunday's match against Le Havre, according to Angelo Salemi of RL Sports.
Analysis: Diallo will not be an option for play after an early exit in the last match, as the forward still deals with a hamstring injury. This is a rough loss for the club, as he has been a starter, starting in all but one game since Jan. 18. This will force a change at forward for a match or two, leaving Lucas Michal or Giorgi Kvilitaia to start at forward, with Nathan Mbala (undisclosed) also with a chance if deemed fit.
