Vincent Marchetti
PFC
Back available for selection
Marchetti (undisclosed) has resumed team training this week after recovering from a minor injury and is available for selection ahead of Paris FC's upcoming Ligue 1 clash against Rennes.
Analysis: Marchetti appears to have overcome the minor injury that ruled him out of Paris FC's 1-0 defeat against Lorient last weekend. The midfielder participated in training sessions throughout the week, suggesting he has recovered sufficiently to be considered for the upcoming matchup against Rennes. However, Marchetti has struggled to secure regular playing time under coach Liam Rosenior this season, logging just 11 minutes off the bench across his first five Ligue 1 matches. Despite his return to fitness, he is expected to remain a rotational option in central midfield, with any involvement against Rennes likely to come from the bench.
Sidelined with minor injury
Marchetti (undisclosed) has been ruled out for Saturday's Ligue 1 clash against Lorient due to a minor injury, according to Laurent Pruneta of Le Parisien.
Analysis: Marchetti will miss Saturday's trip to Lorient after picking up a minor injury, although the exact nature of the issue and a potential recovery timeline have not been disclosed. The midfielder has struggled to earn playing time under coach Liam Rosenior this season, logging just 11 minutes off the bench across Paris FC's opening five Ligue 1 matches. Given his limited involvement in the rotation, his absence is unlikely to significantly impact the starting XI, although it will leave Rosenior with one fewer option in central midfield.
Scores from bench
Marchetti scored a goal while taking two shots (one on goal) during Sunday's 3-0 win over Nice.
Analysis: Marchetti entered the match in the 83rd minute and scored Paris' final goal in the 89th. The goal puts Marchetti halfway to last season's total across 23 appearances after just one appearance this campaign.
Assist off bench
Marchetti assisted once to go with zero corners and one chance created in Sunday's 4-0 win versus Brest.
Analysis: For only the second time since April, Marchetti got some playing time for Paris FC. Despite the limited opportunity Sunday, it is a chance nonetheless, and he used it to log his first assist this season.
