Left out of squad
Edouard has not been included in Lens' squad for Saturday's Ligue 1 clash against Paris FC for undisclosed reasons, according to Lensois.
Analysis: Edouard will miss Saturday's encounter against Paris FC despite delivering an impressive performance in Lens' recent 3-1 victory over Troyes in Ligue 1. The forward scored his first goal of the 2026/27 campaign just before halftime. However, he has now been omitted from the matchday squad, with no explanation provided regarding his absence. It remains unclear whether his exclusion is related to a fitness concern, a tactical decision or another issue. His absence reduces Lens' attacking options following his encouraging display against Troyes, although his availability for upcoming fixtures remains uncertain until further information emerges. Franjo Ivanovic is the likely option to lead the line during his absence.
