Sidelined until late December
Terrier is not expected to be available until late December after sustaining a muscle injury in his left hamstring during Thursday's 4-0 Europa League win at Lech Poznan, the club announced.
Analysis: Terrier was forced off after 18 minutes of Thursday's win at Lech Poznan with a left hamstring injury and is not expected to return until late December. The setback came in only his second start since returning from injury, and he had played just 38 Bundesliga minutes this season. Patrik Schick came on in his place and scored twice, and the Czech striker should continue to lead the line.
Ruled out against Freiburg
Terrier (undisclosed) will miss Sunday's Bundesliga clash against Freiburg after suffering an injury during Thursday's Europa League match against Lech Poznan, according to coach Carles Martinez. "He's going to do an MRI now. Of course, he is absent for Sunday, it's clear."
Analysis: Terrier was forced off during the first half of Thursday's Europa League encounter against Lech Poznan after sustaining an undisclosed injury. The forward is now set to undergo an MRI to determine the nature and severity of the problem, with manager Martinez already confirming that he will be unavailable for Sunday's matchup against Freiburg. The early substitution and need for further examinations raise concerns about a potentially longer absence, although no diagnosis or recovery timeline has been established. Leverkusen will have to adjust their attacking rotation in his absence, with his availability for subsequent fixtures dependent on the results of the medical assessment.
