Rémy Descamps
LYO
Concedes one
Descamps recorded three saves and allowed one goal in Sunday's 2-1 win against Nice.
Analysis: Descamps recorded three saves and two clearances, but conceded the opener in the 18th minute. He took the place of Dominik Greif and made his second appearance of the campaign. It will be interesting to see if Descamps starts in the upcoming clashes against 1899 Hoffenheim and Paris Saint-Germain.
Serving as backup goalkeeper
Descamps has made two appearances across all competitions this season, recording five saves while conceding one goal and keeping one clean sheet.
Analysis: Descamps remains the backup to Dominik Greif in goal but should continue to receive occasional opportunities throughout the season. Lyon's involvement in the Europa League provides room for rotation, particularly during congested stretches of the schedule. Descamps has performed well in his limited action, allowing just one goal across his two appearances.
Registers clean sheet
Descamps made two saves and secured a clean sheet in Saturday's 2-0 win over Toulouse.
Analysis: Descamps recorded 30 passes and managed to the open the campaign on a bright note with a clean sheet. He started the game over Dominik Greif and may start against Le Havre next week.
