Recovered from knock
Aguilar (ankle) trained without any issues Tuesday and is available for Wednesday's Champions League clash against Club Brugge after recovering from a knock sustained against Troyes, according to Lensois.
Analysis: Aguilar recovered from the knock that forced off during Saturday's 3-1 victory over Troyes. The right-back was initially considered questionable for Wednesday's European encounter, with further assessments expected to determine the severity of the problem. However, his participation in Tuesday's training session without any limitations suggests he has fully recovered and should be available for selection against Club Brugge. Aguilar could therefore retain his starting role on the right side of Lens' defense, although Saud Abdulhamid remains an alternative should the coaching staff decide to manage his workload. His swift recovery provides Lens with a welcome boost ahead of the Champions League fixture, particularly with Ismaelo Ganiou (knee) already ruled out.
Sustains ankle injury Saturday
Aguilar suffered an ankle injury in Saturday's 3-1 win over Troyes, according to Actu Ligue 1.
Analysis: Aguilar departed the game in the second half due to the injury and will have to undergo tests to determine the extent of the injury. Right now, he's considered uncertain to play against Club Brugge on Wednesday in the Champions League. If he's out, Saud Abdulhamid could start in his place.
