He was beaten by Joseph Paintsil's close-range finish in the 34th minute before initially stopping Erik Thommy's second-half effort, only for Paintsil to convert the rebound and double the visitors' advantage. Lloris faced limited pressure afterward as LAFC dominated the final stages, with Denis Bouanga and Leo Walta scoring nine minutes apart to rescue the draw.
Makes three saves in win
Lloris registered three saves and allowed one goal in Wednesday's 3-1 victory against Austin FC.
Analysis: Lloris made three saves while allowing one goal during Wednesday's 3-1 victory over Austin FC. He kept Austin off the board through the opening hour before Brandon Vazquez beat him with a precise low finish in the 66th minute following Myrto Uzuni's interception and through ball. LAFC responded almost immediately to retake the lead, allowing Lloris to close out the final stages without conceding again. Lloris will look to build on that shift in Saturday's clash against New York City FC.
