Recovers from surgery

Trewin underwent successful surgery on his right ankle this past Monday and has begun his rehab, according to the club.

Analysis: Trewin has made 18 appearances across all competitions this season, contributing two assists and scoring his first goal for the club in the U.S. Open Cup, and the surgery comes after he helped Australia reach the round of 32 at the World Cup. He has been a regular presence in both the back line and midfield of NYCFC this season, therefore his absence will allow Keaton Parks and Raul Gustavo to get more minutes until he returns.
