Gazdag signed with New England on Tuesday until the end of the 2027 MLS season. The deal includes club options until the end of the 2028/29 season.
Analysis: Gazdag's deal with Columbus was terminated on Aug. 28, but the veteran playmaker didn't need much time to find a new club. The playmaker should see a regular role in New England and could form an exciting playmaking duo alongside Carles Gil.

Gazdag scored one goal to go with four shots (two on goal) and one chance created in Saturday's 2-1 victory over FC Cincinnati.
Analysis: Gazdag converted a penalty in his second straight match Saturday, this time right before halftime to score the match winning goal. He also set season highs in shots and shots on target, giving him easily his best performance of the season to date. He'll hope these two penalties will get him back on track after a slow start to the campaign.

Gazdag scored one goal to go with one shot (one on goal) and one chance created in Wednesday's 2-1 loss versus New York City FC.
Analysis: Gazdag and the Crew returned to MLS play Wednesday following the extended World Cup break. He replaced Jamal Thiare in the 75th minute and still found time to score, a penalty in the 93rd minute. It marked just his second goal of the season as he has continued to struggle in Columbus since joining last year. Next up is a rivalry matchup versus Cincinnati on Saturday.

Analysis: Gazdag opened up the scoring Wednesday with a strike in the 40th minute assisted by Hugo Picard. It marked his first goal of the season as he's seemingly still struggling to find his sea legs in Columbus. He finished the match with two shots and one chance created before he was subbed off in the 73rd minute for Sekou Bangoura. The Crew will need Gazdag to find his form on the attack as star striker Wessam Abou Ali (knee) will miss the remainder of the season.
