Returns to action
Lucca (ankle) made a substitute appearance in Wednesday's friendly versus Osasuna.
Analysis: Lucca worked his way back from an ankle sprain that sidelined him for a couple of weeks and won't face any limitation ahead of the Serie A opener. It appears at the moment that either he or Romelu Lukaku will stay at the club to back up Rasmus Hojlund.
Picks up mild ankle injury
Lucca suffered a right-ankle sprain during a recent friendly and is set to miss two weeks, Corriere dello Sport relayed.
Analysis: Lucca will miss some practice time while he's being evaluated for a potential backup role and is reportedly being tracked by a few smaller Serie A sides after his Nottingham Forest spell. Rasmus Hojlund and Romelu Lukaku are the other strikers on the squad.
