Undergoes meniscus surgery
Locatelli underwent surgery Tuesday to suture the external meniscus of his right knee, the club announced.
Analysis: Locatelli was diagnosed with a right knee sprain following the 1-1 draw against AC Milan despite playing the full 90, and he underwent surgery Tuesday to repair what ended up being a more serious injury. According to Sky Italy, he's expected to miss five to six months. Douglas Luiz, Teun Koopmeiners, Weston McKennie (undisclosed) and Pape Sarr (undisclosed) will absorb his minutes in the midfield. The last two are currently dealing with minor injuries.
Picks up assist in Parma contest
