Luis generated three tackles (one won), two clearances and one interception in Saturday's 3-2 defeat against Manchester City.
Analysis: Luis was back in the starting XI after a starting role in their last contest, his only two starts of the season. He would be handed a more defensive role once again, notching an interception, two clearances and three tackles. This would lead to little time on the ball, only attempting 19 passes (16 completed).
Three tackles in first league start
Luis had one cross (one accurate) and one chance created in Saturday's 2-1 win against Fulham.
Analysis: Luis earned his first league start for Ipswich against Fulham, with Exequiel Palacios starting on the bench in a decision that was likely down to his long trip back from international duty. The defensive midfielder did his job without the ball and finished with three tackles, two interceptions and one clearance before Palacios came on for him shortly after the hour. He may have to share minutes with Palacios going forward as the two compete for a place in the side.
