Appears for short cameo
Longstaff registered two shots (two on goal) in Sunday's 0-0 draw versus Sunderland.
Analysis: Longstaff would only enter the field for the final minute of regular time Sunday, doing well in his time on the field to record two shots on net. The midfielder is yet to earn a start this season, notching four appearances thus far.
Makes late appearance against United
Longstaff recorded no stats in Sunday's 1-1 draw against Manchester United.
Analysis: Longstaff entered in central midfield for the final 10 minutes, providing fresh legs as Leeds pushed for a late winner. The English midfielder was unable to register a direct attacking contribution during his brief appearance. He continues to face competition from Ethan Ampadu, Ao Tanaka and Anton Stach for playing time in central midfield, with his involvement against Manchester United highlighting his current role as a rotational option. His opportunities for additional starts could depend on changes to the midfield lineup.
