Quiet despite set-piece involvement
Torres generated five crosses (one accurate) and three corners in Saturday's 2-1 win over Sporting Kansas City.
Analysis: Torres remained involved in Austin's attacking buildup and set-piece situations, delivering five crosses and taking three corners during the comeback victory. However, the winger failed to register a shot or direct goal contribution, extending his streak to three consecutive MLS matches without a goal or assist. He has now accumulated four goals, seven assists and 67 chances created across 21 league appearances this season, remaining one of Austin's main creative outlets. His regular set-piece responsibilities continue to support his attacking production, although he will look to rediscover his direct involvement in goals.
Assists opener in 2-1 win
Torres assisted once to go with one shot (zero on goal) and one chance created in Sunday's 2-1 victory over Vancouver Whitecaps FC.
Analysis: Torres assisted Christian Ramirez for the first goal of the game as they would go on to win 2-1 against the Vancouver Whitecaps. This was his sixth assist of the season and to 10 goal involvements in total. In his last five starts, he has scored three goals and provided an assist.
