Keeps a clean sheet
Fernandez made one save and secured a clean sheet in Sunday's 2-0 victory versus Racing Santander.
Analysis: There wasn't much to stop for Fernandez, who only had to make one save in this win. The goalkeeper is going to face much more pressure up next against Sevilla, a team that has scored 14 times in LaLiga play so far this season.
Allows five against Betis
Fernandez recorded three saves and allowed five goals in Sunday's 5-2 loss versus Betis.
Analysis: Fernandez was in for a rough outing Sunday, as the keeper would make fewer saves than goals allowed, allowing five goals past him while stopping three shots. This is a third straight game without a clean sheet since getting the starting role, allowing 10 goals in those three starts. It has been a rough start for the keeper, although he could turn it around next match when facing Racing Santander on Oct. 18.
