He did get his name on the scoresheet, though the goal only reduced the deficit rather than rescuing anything.

Analysis: Lassiter provided one assist during Saturday's win, sending in a pair of crosses during the win. The forward was unable to get much done during the match other than that assist, but the assist was all he, and Portland needed. Lassiter isn't going to get this much time and space every time he steps on the pitch, but when he does he has plenty of upside and the chance to be a difference-maker.

Analysis: For the first time this season, Lassiter logged double-digit crosses. Since July 17, beginning a seven-game span in which he started six games, the forward logged three accurate crosses thrice. Lassiter has been efficient since his return to the starting XI, and with his 35 crosses (11 accurate) from the flank, perhaps he has warranted a continued role in Portland's starting XI.

He also registered a season high three shots in the game while creating one other chance.

The player has made three consecutive starts under interim coach Jack Cassidy after managing only one prior to his appointment, and across those three games he has been a consistent wide presence, delivering 20 crosses, creating four chances and registering one shot.
