Provides assist for Argentina
Mac Allister provided an assist during Argentina's 4-0 friendly win over Bolivia, according to the club.
Analysis: Mac Allister made an impact from midfield by setting up Lautaro Martinez for the opening goal before being replaced in the 73rd minute. The assist comes after a relatively quiet start to the Premier League season offensively, with the midfielder yet to record a goal contribution across five appearances for Liverpool. He has created three chances while adding 11 tackles and two interceptions, maintaining a regular role in central midfield alongside Dominik Szoboszlai.
Held quiet
Mac Allister generated two crosses (zero accurate) and one corner in Sunday's 1-0 win versus AFC Bournemouth.
Analysis: Mac Allister was largely shut down throughout Sunday's win, he did his job well and kept the ball moving, but never really got involved in or around the box. He was his usually reliable self in the center of the park, but just couldn't press forward to join the attack. Mac Allister should maintain that role, likely alongside Dominik Szoboszlai moving forward.
