Analysis: In the MLS, Joveljic's latest appearance marked his first since Sept. 20. The forward scored then too, meaning he has logged at least one goal in back-to-back games. In five games with the Sounders, Joveljic has four goals, which make up one-third of his 12 scored this season.
Back after representing Serbia
Joveljic (not injury related) is back in training with the Sounders after the international break and should be an option for Saturday's game against New England on Saturday, according to Niko Moreno of Sounder at Heart.
Analysis: Joveljic was called up by the Serbian team, but the striker was limited to just two appearances -- 19 minutes off the bench against Greece on Sept. 24 and a start against the Netherlands on Sept. 27, where he came off at HT. Joveljic should play a key role for the Sounders in the final weeks of the 2026 MLS regular season, and after not playing in any of Serbia's past two games, it wouldn't be surprising if he starts right away against the Revs on Saturday. Joveljic has three goals in four matches with Seattle since being acquired via trade from Sporting KC earlier this season.
Called up to represent Serbia
Joveljic has been called up by Serbia for the upcoming international break between September and October.
Analysis: Joveljic has been called up for Serbia's four matches -- against Greece on Sept. 24, Netherlands on Sept. 27, Germany on Oct. 1 and Netherlands again on Oct. 4. Joveljic would therefore miss the matches against Real Salt Lake (Sept. 23), Minnesota United (Sept. 26) and Sporting KC (Oct. 1), but he should be back in the mix for the stretch run of the regular season, starting with the Oct. 10 away fixture at New England. The loss of Joveljic is huge for Seattle, as the Serbian striker has three goals in four matches with the team. Jordan Morris could play as a center forward as his replacement due to the lack of available options on the Sounders roster.

Analysis: Joveljic got the start against Colorado and got a goal as part of Seattle's strong second half. The forward has a great chance to keep scoring against Real Salt Lake, a team that has conceded 42 times in 25 MLS matches.

Analysis: Joveljic won't miss further action with the injury he was dealing with, so he'll continue to lead the Sounders' front line for the fourth straight contest. Despite coming into this match on a two-game scoreless run, he has tallied multiple shots in each of his last four league starts, notching two goals over that period. Given Danny Musovski's personal absence, the former SKC man is likely to see meaningful playing time against Colorado.

Analysis: For the first time since Aug. 16, Joveljic logged under 90 minutes in an appearance, with eventual goalscorer Paul Arriola taking the former's place. Subsequently, Joveljic's injury status is questionable going into Saturday's game at Colorado.
Nets brace Saturday
Joveljic scored two goals from two shots during Saturday's 2-2 draw with Chicago.
Analysis: Joveljic found the back of the net in the 12th and 48th minutes scoring both Seattle goals during the draw. The goals were the first since July 23rd for the forward as he's combined for eight shots, a chance created and a cross over his last three starts.
Joins Seattle via trade
Joveljic has completed a move to Seattle from Sporting KC on Tuesday in a cash-for-player trade. Sporting KC have received $6 million as part of the deal, and the deal also includes an option for the 2030/31 MLS season.
Analysis: Joveljic spent one-and-a-half seasons with Sporting KC, tallying 26 goals and three assists over 52 league appearances for the club. He should provide Seattle with a reliable scoring threat, and the team can start building their attack around him, as the deal will keep Joveljic as a Sounder until 2030 at the earliest. Joveljic's 39 goals in MLS regular-season and postseason play between 2024 and 2025 ranked third league-wide, behind only Inter Miami's Lionel Messi and LAFC's Denis Bouanga.
Sits amid club uncertainty
Joveljic was not involved in Sunday's match, with head coach Raphael Wicky saying that nothing is finalized regarding the forward and that Sporting Kansas City felt it was in his best interest to sit out, Daniel Sperry of The Kansas City Star reports.
Analysis: Until the club makes an announcement, Joveljic's short-term status with Sporting Kansas City remains uncertain. However, it wouldn't be shocking if he doesn't suit up until his situation is solved one way or the other.

Analysis: Joveljic was a menace in the final third, creating three chances in addition to scoring a goal. He will have to keep this up if Sporting KC want to break LAFC's defense on Saturday. LAFC have only allowed 18 goals in 17 MLS games so far this season.

Analysis: Joveljic would play the full 90 Thursday and see a decent match, as he recorded five shots while scoring a goal in the 76th minute of the contest. This gives the forward his seventh goal of the season, also having one assist. He continues a solid run he had before the break, with three goals in his past six appearances.

In two matchups versus his former club in 2026, the veteran striker has scored twice from seven shots (five on goal). Joveljic has played the full 90 minutes in 10 of his 12 appearances (12 starts).
