Five saves, two goals conceded
Bond recorded five saves and allowed two goals in Saturday's 2-2 draw against FC Dallas.
Analysis: Five marks Bond's highest save tally since Sept. 20. But since then, the goalkeeper has logged five appearances, and each of them saw him concede at least one goal. Bond has been without a clean sheet since Sept. 5, and his next chance to keep one comes Oct. 24 against Minnesota United, one of the five teams that have scored past him since Sept. 20.

Analysis: For the first time since May 14, Bond has conceded three goals in a single appearance. The goalkeeper hasn't kept a clean sheet in a while, going six appearances without one since Sept. 10. In the six-game span, Bond logged 16 saves and conceded 10 goals. Bond will look to redeem himself in more ways than one Saturday against FC Dallas, who scored four past him the last time they faced off on March 22.
Starting after quick recovery

Analysis: Bond is available as expected following confirmation that he didn't suffer a concussion from the injury that forced him to leave the match against Minnesota. He'll therefore stay in the main lineup while Blake Gillingham offers backup in the absence of Jimmy Maurer (back). Bond has struggled to keep clean sheets lately, and he sits 26th in the league with an average of 2.5 saves per game.
Available for Wednesday match
Bond is available for Wednesday's match against San Diego after head coach Ben Olsen said he did not sustain a concussion, according to BayouCitySoccer.
Analysis: This clears up Bond's status and availability after he exited Saturday's draw against Minnesota United with an apparent head injury. Thus, the Dynamo goalkeeper now appears set to remain available for the club's next match scheduled against San Diego FC on Wednesday. Bond has been the No. 1 option between the posts for the Dynamo and that won't change as long as he's healthy.

Analysis: Bond hit his head after jumping to make a save in the second half of the game, and medical assessment determined he was unable to continue playing. It remains to be seen if he'll miss subsequent matches, a loss that would be highly impactful for a team that would have to use its third goalkeeper Blake Gillingham for the first time this season, given that Jimmy Maurer (back) is also dealing with a physical issue.

Analysis: Bond has hit a rough patch after a strong run of form, having now conceded in four straight games. Analysis: Bond was excellent during Saturday's draw, stopping six of the eight shots he faced. On a day where his team gave him only two shots of support, admittedly scoring both, Bond did everything he needed to do. He was the clear player of the match and really showed why he is the top choice in net since making the swap to Houston.

Analysis: Bond only faced one shot on net Saturday, but was unable to stop the shot, allowing a goal in the loss. This is the second straight match allowing a goal after a string of two clean sheets for the keeper, remaining at 10 in 25 appearances this season. He will now prepare to face Cincinnati on Sept. 19, a team that has scored three times in its past three games, having been shut out in two of those games.
