Four saves in loss
Gulacsi recorded four saves and allowed four goals in Tuesday's 4-3 defeat against Liverpool.
Analysis: Gulacsi was brilliant for the first 40 minutes of Tuesday's defeat. He and Villarreal got off to an incredible start and were flying high. All of that was undone quickly as two goals late in the first half kept the game close, and then it all fell apart. Gulacsi would have wanted at least one of those goals back, but in a clash against Liverpool at Anfield it's always going to be difficult.
Starting in goal
Gulacsi (not injury related) is in the starting XI for Saturday's match against Elche.
Analysis: Gulacsi starts after returning to training Thursday following a home invasion earlier in the week during which he was threatened. The goalkeeper chose to rejoin his teammates quickly as he sought a sense of normalcy following the ordeal. Coach Inigo Perez left the decision until matchday and has now selected him to play. Luiz Junior remains the alternative in goal.
