Gulacsi has completed a transfer to Villarreal from Leipzig, according to his new club.
Analysis: Gulacsi is on the move as he leaves his post in Leipzig after multiple years served in Germany, switching to Spain as he joins Villarreal on a two-year deal. The goalie spent 11 years with Villarreal before his exit, recording 117 clean sheets across an amazing 363 matches with the team. This will leave Maarten Vandevoordt as the No. 1 in net for Leipzig, as Gulacsi takes over the main role in net for Villarreal.

He ends the campaign with 32 goals allowed, 53 saves and nine clean sheets in 23 starts. Gulacsi should be Leipzig's No. 1 goalkeeper in 2026/27 once again.
