Fires five shots in draw
Sieb registered five shots (one on goal), three crosses (two accurate) and one corner in Saturday's 1-1 draw versus Vancouver Whitecaps FC.
Analysis: Sieb recorded five shots, putting one on target, while adding three crosses, two accurate, one corner and one interception across 86 minutes in Saturday's 1-1 draw with Vancouver. He was heavily involved in LAFC's attacking pressure against 10-man Vancouver, but Yohei Takaoka and the Whitecaps' compact defense prevented him from finding the breakthrough. Sieb's five attempts were a strong volume return, though the lack of a goal or assist limited the fantasy payoff from an otherwise active performance.
Goal ruled out by VAR in defeat
Sieb registered two shots (one on goal), three crosses (one accurate) and one chance created in Saturday's 1-0 loss versus FC Dallas. In addition, he was given a yellow card in the 23rd minute.
Analysis: Sieb appeared to equalize in the 73rd minute but had his goal disallowed after VAR adjudged him to have interfered with Jonathan Sirois in the buildup, registering two shots including one on goal, three accurate crosses and one interception across 90 minutes as one of LAFC's most active contributors in the absence of their six internationals. He was also directly involved in Sergi Palencia's late bicycle kick attempt that Sirois saved to preserve Dallas's 1-0 lead. Sieb has now started three consecutive MLS matches for LAFC and figures to keep his spot on the right wing for the Black and Gold.
