Ends ban
Perez is no longer suspended and is an option for play moving forward.
Analysis: Perez had to sit out against Real Madrid due to a red card in their last contest but is now available, with the midfielder serving his one-game suspension. He has only started in one of his four appearances this season, so he will likely return to a bench role. He only started in 12 of his 29 appearances last season while notching two goals and one assist.
Sent off Saturday
Perez was sent off in Saturday's match against Racing Santander.
Analysis: Perez came off the bench but wasn't able to finish the game after seeing a red card late in the second half -- he lasted just 21 minutes on the field. Perez will miss the visit to Real Madrid next Saturday, but he should be able to return when Rayo take on Espanyol on Tuesday, Sept. 15.
