Ameen Al-Dakhil

Analysis: Al-Dakhil is finally available to return from injury. The defender will add depth on the defensive line, but he won't have a lot of upside unless he can find a way to play consistent minutes in Stuttgart's defensive line.

Resumes training after knee issue

Al-Dakhil (knee) returned to team training Monday ahead of Tuesday's Champions League clash against Atletico Madrid after missing Stuttgart's last three competitive matches, according to Daniel Haug of Kicker.

Analysis: Al-Dakhil participated in Stuttgart's final training session ahead of the European fixture, marking an encouraging step in his recovery from a knee problem. However, his return to training does not necessarily mean he is ready for competitive action, leaving his inclusion in Tuesday's squad in doubt. The Belgian center-back could provide an additional defensive option once fully fit, although his immediate involvement will depend on how he responds to the increased workload.
