Re-enters starting XI and scores
Cappis scored one goal to go with one shot (one on goal) in Saturday's 2-2 draw against Houston Dynamo.
Analysis: Cappis not only re-entered FC Dallas' starting XI after a one-game demotion but also scored his first goal this season. The central midfielder has been far from an offensive contributor, as his first goal this season came from his first and only shot of the campaign thus far.
Subbed in on Wednesday
Cappis recorded no stats in Wednesday's 1-0 victory over Seattle Sounders FC.
Analysis: Cappis replaced Joaquin Valiente in the 74th minute and recorded two passes. Cappis came off the bench after starting three games in a row.
Plays full game
Cappis recorded two tackles (one won), one clearance and three interceptions in Saturday's 1-0 defeat to San Diego FC.
Analysis: Cappis spent most of the match pinned down in his own half as Dallas struggled to maintain possession. Despite this, he managed to record 22 passes. He has featured in every single game this campaign, starting 11 times and he has now played full 90s in back-to-back games.
