Scores off bench
Bowie scored one goal to go with one shot (one on goal) in Sunday's 3-2 victory versus Juventus.
Analysis: Bowie came off the bench for the first time this season and needed only one attempt to score, briefly restoring Sassuolo's lead during a frantic closing stretch. Juventus responded almost immediately through Edon Zhegrova before Vasilije Adzic eventually secured the victory for the hosts. Sunday's goal was Bowie's first of the Serie A season and showed he can still provide attacking production after being moved to a substitute role.
Returns to Serie A
Bowie is headed to Sassuolo on loan with a conditional obligation to buy from Verona.
Analysis: Bowie played well for a struggling team in the second half of last season, bagging four goals and tallying 33 shots (11 on target), 13 chances created and six crosses (zero accurate) in 14 starts. He'll compete and rotate with Andrea Pinamonti at his new team and would take over the position if the teammate left.
